Instead of cleaning up the road in winter they just close the park and post no information about it. You only know the park is closed after driving all the way from your home and facing closed gates!

Another thing this park promises year around camping, but guess what, excluding winter because some effort has to be made to clean the road.

Have anyone been up there or to any other view point there? How long is the hike? Thanks.

Hiked the trail to the falls, beautiful as usual. Tried the trail that connects to the east canyon trail for the first time. Not easy to find once you get above the falls. After climbing, and luckily seeing trail tape, it leveled out and became more obvious. The BC Parks trail markers aren't easy to see.

Beautiful location, beautiful setting. Great staff. Go mid-week to avoid the madness. One of the first parks I've gone to where I've been pleasantly surprised to find that the campsites are rather nicely spaced. Long weekends can be busy, especially when the locals arrive in their speed boats that think that we're all paying attention. Be prepared for rain as higher elevation and upslope conditions can surprise you after a few days of sun. Overall a beautiful park that's well run and well looked after.

No information if Park is closed or not posted online, all I could see is normal winter hours.

It was really quite and little dripping weather around this time. This view point is 30 minutes hike away from the parking across the bridge. Just follow the trail beside the river and you will get to this viewpoint.
